การเผยแผ่ศาสนาคริสต์-วิธีการทำลายหัวใจที่แข็งแกร่ง

You should never underestimate the power of God’s Word to change hearts.

In a little old village in a far away land,
Lived a little young man in a house built on sand,
His mother was older his father had died,
His face told a tale of the loneliness inside,
As we sat on the porch of the house built on sand,
He told me a tale in that far away land,
A tale of his father who in passing away,
Had left him and mother without any delay,
His life was consumed with making ends meet,
Just some bread on the table and some shoes for his feet,
He was searching for answers and was trying to find,
Something to fill the longing inside.
A longing for purpose and meaning in life,
A hope for security without pain and no strife,
He’d spent many hours turning things in his mind,
Buddhist and Jesus and religions of every kind.
Money and riches just could not replace,
The God shaped void you could see on his face.
And saddest of all was the evidence clear,
That all of the searching, the pain, and the fear,
Was ruining his health and without a long wait,
Would soon take him away to meet his fate.

Evangelism-How To Break A Hard Heart

Nui was a young man of about 30 years of age. I sat beside him one night as he told me all about his difficult journey up to that point in his life.

He was consumed with trying to fill the emptiness inside. One of the primary methods that Satan offered to him was the pursuit of earthly possessions and financial security. He grew up Buddhist but had not really embraced Buddhist teaching. He even spent some time studying Christianity but had yet to meet the Savior that he read about.

He was desperately in need to someone to counteract the lies that he had believed with the truth of God’s Word. As I considered his dilemma while on the trip back to my home, I formulated a plan. This plan can easily be followed to minister to anyone from a distance or who is not open to listening to a verbal presentation of the gospel.

I bought a copy of the gospel of John.
I went through the book and highlighted important verses.
On each page with a highlighted verse I attached a paper tab to make the verse easier to find.
I sent the book to a friend and had her deliver it to Nui.

I have yet to hear how my gift was received or what effect God’s Word had on Nui’s life. But even though I may never hear from him again, the effectiveness of this kind of ministry is supported by a verse in Isaiah 55:11:

“So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

God’s Word is not only a convenient tool, it is our primary weapon in evangelism. Do not underestimate it’s power to break a hard heart.
